Mixtures and Solutions

TermDefinition
Mixture Combinations of elements or compounds that can be physically separated.
Homogeneous Made evenly. you can see no difference.
Heterogeneous Not mixed evenly. you can see a difference.
Solution Has solute which can get dissolved.
Solvent Dissolves.
colloid One substance is microscopically dispirited suspended in the other.
Suspension Particles are so large they cannot be dissolved.
Solute Gets dissolved.
