| Term | Definition |
|---|---|
| Chemical Change | A change that occurs and makes the object into a new object |
| Physical Change | A change that occurs and you can still see the original object |
| Chemical Property | When an object has the ability to change under certain circumstances |
| Physical Property | What we see that changed |

| Decomposition | When the reaction is broken down to its original components |
| Single Replacement | When the chemical replaces one part with another like this AB + CD = AC |
| Double Replacement | When the chemical replaces both parts with another like this AB + CD = AC and BD |
| Atom | The basic single unit of matter |
| Molecule | Multiple atoms combined |
| Conservation Of Mass | The rule stating that matter can not be destroyed or created |
| Reactants | What happens after the chemical reaction |
| Products | The solution that happened after you did a chemical reaction |
| Coefficient | The chemical or physical property that is constant under certain circumstances |
