| Why did Feudalism come to an end? | Many people died because of the Black Death/Plague. This left job opportunities which serfs on manors wanted. This, in effect, ended feudalism. |
| What is a Nation-State? | A single ruler, army, set of written laws, and paid government officials |
| Who supported nation-states? | Traders supported nation-states because they were protected by the army and could safely trade. |

| What is the Magna Carta? | The Magna Carta is a document signed by King John that limits his power. The document states that the king must follow the same laws as everyone else making everyone equal. |
