shade (noun) a spot that protects one from light. "We found the perfect shade at the beach."
mistake (noun) to make a wrong choice. "I made a mistake coming here."
stage (noun) raised floor in a theater where plays are performed. "There are only two actors on stage."
these (pronoun) plural form of this. "These books should be in the library."
concrete (noun) heavy and rough building material made of stone, sand, cement, and water. "We have a concrete driveway at home."
complete (verb) to finish making or doing. "They will complete the building next month."
price (noun) the amount of money wanted in payment for something. "That land was sold for a high price."
describe (verb) give information about the qualities and characteristics of something or someone. "We had to describe the dog in the picture."
inside (noun) inner part, interior. "The inside of the car was like an oven."
whole (adjective) all of, entire. "We spent the whole day walking."
tadpole (noun) baby stage of a frog. "She saw a tadpole in the pond."
phone (noun) another word for telephone. "Dad answered his phone after several attempts."
cube (noun) a 3D shape with six equal squares. "The die has the shape of a cube."
refuse (verb) not willing to accept or do something. "He had to refuse the tempting offer."
excuse (noun) a reason to justify an offense. "There can be no possible excuse for anymore delays."
