Argument When the author wants to convince you of their position.
Claims The author’s main point.
Relevant Evidence What the author uses to support their claim
Counterclaim The opposite viewpoint of the author’s claim.
Rebuttal The author provides reasons why the counterclaim is not as strong as the claim.
