Altitude of a triangle A perpendicular segment from a vertex of a triangle to the line connecting to the opposite side.
Base of a Triangle The opposite side of a triangle used to find the altitude.
Vertex A point where two or more curves, lines, or edges meet or intersect
Decompose The separation of a shape into two or more non-overlapping shapes.
Perpendicular A straight line at an angle of 90° to a given line, plane, or surface
Area of a triangle Base times height divided by 2
Parallel Lines Two planes that do not intersect
