| abiotic factors | nonliving parts of an ecosystem |
| biotic factors examples | plants, animals, fungi, bacteria, anything decomposing, things that come from animals |
| abiotic factors examples | air, water, sunlight, soil, temperature, climate |
| carrying capacity | Largest number of individuals of a population that a environment can support |
| limiting factor | An environmental factor that prevents a population from increasing |
