Tennessee Valley Authority - RECOVERY (TVA) provide flood control, navigation, energy, and fertilizer manufacturing for Southern Appalachian. African Americans received low level janitorial jobs and women completed clerical work. modernized the region

Home Owner’s Loan Corporation (HOLC) - RELIEF millions of Americans faced the possibility of losing their homes because of the high unemployment rate and reduced wages. finance them to get their houses back. revolutionized mortgage industry
Federal Housing Administration (FHA) - RELIEF provide payments for losses when a homeowner defaults on his or hers loan. Created after the National Housing Act
Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulates air transportation; enforces minimum standards for aircraft operation, manufacture, and maintenance; certification of airports and air personnel. Federal Aviation Act. more safety regulations for aircrafts
Federal Communications Commission (FCC) oversees the television, radio and telephone industries. issuing operating licenses for radio and TV stations to maintaining decency standards designed to protect the public good. regulates all interstate communications
Agricultural Adjustment Administration (AAA) for farms restore agricultural prosperity by curtailing farm production, reducing export surpluses, and raising prices. crop loan and storage program, was established to make price-supporting loans and purchases of specific commodities.
