Using this technique, the ideas are easily gathered from the members. What is it? Brainstorming
It involves documenting and coming up with a list of topics. What is it called? Brainstorming
There are different methods in Brainstorming, name them. Idea List and Idea Map
What is Idea List? Creating an idea list simply involves listing ideas about a particular topic. It also helps you find the main idea and supporting details from the numerous listed ideas.
This strategy is especially appropriate for textual people, or those who are more comfortable in processing words than visuals. Idea List
What is an Idea Map? Idea Map is a visual representation of ideas and their connection with one another. Unlike the idea list, an idea map is more structured, thus it is able to show how one idea subordinates another idea.
What are graphic organizers? Graphic organizers are visual representations of concepts that helps you structure information into organizational patterns. They present essential Information and connect these pieces of information into coherent framework.
There are how many types of graphic organizers? 10
What is a Venn diagram used for? This is used to compare and contrast ideas and events. This diagram uses two or more overlapping circles to show similar and different attributes.
What is a Network Tree? This is used to represent in a hierarchy, classification, and branching. It is useful in showing relationships of scientific categories, family trees, and even lineages.
What is Spider map (also known as semantic map)? This is used to investigate and enumerate various aspects of a central idea which could be a concept, topic, or theme.
What is problem-solution map? This is used to display the nature of the problem and how it can be saved. It usually contains the problem description, its causes and effects, and logical solutions.
What is Timeline? This is used to show chronological order of events through a long bar labeled with dates and specific events. Timelines can be linear or comparative.
What is a Linear Timeline? A linear timeline shows events that happened within a period of time,
What is Comparative Timeline? Comparative timeline shows two sets of events that happened within the same period of time.
What is Plot Diagram? This is used to map events in a story, making it easier to analyze the major parts of the plot.
What is Series of Events Chain? This is used to show logical sequence of events.
What is Fishbone Map? This is used to better understand the causal relationship of a complex phenomenon. It shows factors that cause specific event or problem, as well as details of each cause.
What is Cycle? IT is used to describe how a series of events interact to produce a set of results immediately.
What is Persuasion Map? This is used to map out arguments and evidence that prove a viewpoint. This map is especially useful when processing persuasive or argumentative texts.
