| purge | a removal from a group or place in a sudden or violent way. |
| indulgence | the removal of reduction of certain punishments for sin, linked to a special act of penance. |
| geocentric | describing Earth as the center of the universe |
| heliocentric | describing the sun as the center of the universe |
| dissection | the act of cutting something into parts in order to study it. |
