Angle Pairs Vocabulary Practice
| Term | Definition |

| Congruent | Equal measure |
| Transversal | A line that intersects two or more lines |
| Complementary Angles | Angles that add up to 90 degrees |
| Supplementary Angles | Angles that add up to 180 degrees |
| Vertical Angles | Angles formed by two intersecting lines; are congruent |
| Corresponding Angles | Angles that are in the same relative positions at each intersection; are congruent |
| Alternate Interior Angles | An angle pair that is in between the parallel lines and on opposite sides of the transversal; are congruent |
| Alternate Exterior Angles | Angles that are outside of the parallel lines and on opposite sides of the transversal; are congruent |
| Acute Angle | An angle that is greater than 0 degrees and less than 90 degrees |
| Right Angle | An angle that is exactly 90 degrees |
| Obtuse Angle | An angle that is greater than 90 degrees and less than 180 degrees |
| Straight Angle | An angle that is exactly 180 degrees |
