magnetic - the ability to attract iron objects
matter - Anything that has mass and takes up space
Melt - When a substance changes from a solid to liquid
Particles - extremely small units of matter
mixture - any material made of a combination of two or more substances that are combined in such a way that each substance keeps it's own properties.
Molecule - A group of atoms bonded together
Phase Change - When matter changes from one form (solid, liquid, gas) to another due to a change in energy
Product - a substance produced in a chemical reaction
Property - characteristics about a substance that make it unique
Reactants - a substance that takes part in and undergoes change during a reaction.
Solid - state in which matter has closely packed, slowly-moving particles
soluble - a substance that can be completely dissolved in a liquid
solution - a mixture in which all the parts are mixed evenly
compound - A substance whose smallest unit is made up of more than one element
boiling point - The temperature at which a liquid changes to a gas
