| What is the rule of adding positive and negative numbers with the same sign? | add the numbers and keep the sign |

| What is the greatest common factor (GCF)? | for two or more numbers it is the largest number that divides into those numbers without leaving a remainder |

| How do you compute an average? | add all of the data and divide by the number of pieces of data |

| How do you find the median? | arrange the data in order from lowest to highest and take the middle value. If there is no middle value, the median is the average of the middle two values |

| What is the range? | in a set of data it is the difference between the highest and lowest numbers in the set |
