What is the atomic number The number of protons in an atom of an element
Are elemens neutral, positive or negative Neutral
What is Mass number of an atom The sum of the protons and neutrons in an atom
What are isotopes Atoms of the same element with different numbers of neutrons
Where do you find the mass number on the periodic table Below the element symbol
Where do you find the atomic number on the periodic table Above the element symbol
When an atom loses electrons it becomes Positively charged
When an atom gains electrons it becomes Negatively charged
What is a saturated solution A solution that cannot dissolve any more solute without adding more solvent or increasing the temperature
What ph is an acid 1-6
What ph is neutral 7
What ph is an alkali 8-14
Sulphuric acid makes sulphates
Nitric acid makes nitrates
Hydrochloric acid makes chlorides
Bases which disolve in water are called alkalis
