Extreme Nature
| Term | Definition |

| Bush | A plant with many small branches growing either directly from the ground or from a hard stem, giving the plant a rounded shape |
| Cool down | To continue to exercise gently to prevent injury after you have done more difficult exercises |
| Dawn | The period in the day when light from the sun begins to appear in the sky |
| Deadly | The period in the day when light from the sun begins to appear in the sky |
| Dry Up | If a river, lake, etc. dries up, the water in it disappears |
| Fierce | Strong and powerful |
| Landscape | A large area of land, especially in relation to its appearance |
| Native | Ssed to refer to plants and animals that grow naturally in a place, and have not been brought there from somewhere else. |
| Peak | The pointed top of a mountain, or the mountain itself |
| Poacher | Someone who catches and kills animals illegally |
| Predator | An animal that hunts, kills, and eats other animals: |
| Prey | An animal that is hunted and killed for food by another animal |
| Rare | Not common or frequent; very unusual |
| Rise | To move upwards |
| Rough | Not even or smooth, often because of being in bad condition |
| Soil | The material on the surface of the ground in which plants grow |
| Tide | The rise and fall of the sea that happens twice every day: |
| Wilderness | An area of land that has not been used to grow crops or had towns and roads built on it, especially because it is difficult to live in as a result of its extremely cold or hot weather or bad earth |
