how do you find an equation of a line in a graph? 1st:find the gradient2nd:find the y intercept3rd:place the info into a formula.
How do you find the gradient and the y-intercept from this rule:y=5x-2 5=gradient-2=y-intercept
what is a gradient? how steep a line on a graph is.
what is a y-intercept? where the graph line goes through the y axes
Which way does a negative graph line point? It points to the left
If we had a graph point that was (4,5) which would be the y term and which would be the x term? 4=x5=y
If we had a table like this: x 1 2 3 4 y 10 13 16 19what would be the rule? y=3x+7
