Add, subtract, multiply and divide radicals

perfect square The product of a number times itself
radicand The value inside the radical symbol
index The power of the exponent to which a number or variable is raised
square root The number multiplied times itself
extracting roots The process of removing perfect squares/cube roots from under the radical symbol.
radical The sign used to denote square root
Product Property of Radicals If a and b are real numbers such that a and b are greater than 0 , then √a .√ b = .√ a . b .
