| gastrocnemius function | plantarflexion of the foot and flexes knee |
| soleus IO | fibula,tibia/ heel bone or tarsal |
| soleus function | plantarflexion of the foot and is underneath the gastrocnemius or calf |

| fibularis longus function | runs down side of leg and creates the arch of the foot. Plantarflexion and eversion of the foot plus arch support |
