Bilateral both sides of body
Brachial related to the arm

Cyanosis blue/gray discoloration of the skin
Distal farther from the origin of a body part or the point of attachment of a limb to the body trunk
Proximal Closer to the origin of the body part or the point of attachment of a limb to the body trunk
Dorsal pertaining to the back
Epigastric pertaining to above the stomach
Erythrocyte red blood cell
Gastroenterology study of the stomach and intestines
Hematology study of blood
Hemorrhage The release of blood from a broken blood vessel, either inside or outside the body.
Hypertrophy increase in muscle size
Lateral Away from the midline of the body
Nephrology study of the kidney
Ophthalmology study of the eye
Paraplegia paralysis from the waist down
Pericardium Membrane surrounding the heart
Peritoneal pertaining to the peritoneum; lining of the abdominal cavity
Pleural Membrane surrounding the lungs
