what to do if there is a chemical spill: ∙ notify TA ∙ find spill kit instructions on disposing of chemical in appropriate manner based on its hazards

what to do if a person's clothing/hair is on fire: ∙ notify TA ∙ smother fire by covering the person with the fire blanket ∙ instruct the person to stop, drop, and roll
what to do if fire alarm goes off: ∙ stop experiment, grab personal items, don't bother removing PPE ∙ if hot plates are being used, turn them off and unplug ∙ evacuate lab and building, staying together with your class ∙ do not block building exits, do not enter until all-clear given
