CPCTC If two triangles are congruent, then the corresponding parts of the triangles are congruent.
Biconditional A statement that can be written in the form "if and only q".
Contrapositive a statement that states "if not q, then not p" instead of "if and only q"
ASA Triangle Congruence If two angles and the included side of one triangle are congruent to two angles and the included side of another triangle, then the triangles are congruent.
SAS Triangle Congruence If two sides and the included angle of one triangle are congruent to two sides and the included angle of another triangle, then the triangles are congruent.
SSS Triangle Congruence If three sides of one triangle are congruent to three sides of another triangle then the triangles are congruent.
Perpendicular Bisector a line segment that is perpendicular to another segment at the segments midpoint.
AAS Triangle Congruence If two angles and a non-included side of one triangle are congruent to the corresponding angles and non-included side of another triangle, then the triangles are congruent.
HL Triangle Congruence If the hypotenuse and a leg of a right triangle are congruent to the hypotenuse and a leg of another right triangle, then the triangles are congruent.
Hypotenuse In a right triangle, the side opposite the right angle.
Legs The two sides that form the sides of the right angle.
Distance Formula d=√((x2 – x1)² + (y2 – y1)²)
Pythagorean Theorem a²+b²=c²
