| Contrapositive | a statement that states "if not q, then not p" instead of "if p, then q" |
| ASA Triangle Congruence | if two angles and the included side of one triangle are congruent to two angles and the included side of another triangle, then the triangles are congruent |
| SAS Triangle Congruence | if two sides and the included angle of one triangle are congruent to two sides and the included angle of another triangle, then the triangles are congruent. |
| SSS Triangle Congruence | if three sides of once triangle are congruent to three sides of another triangle, then the triangles are congruent |
| Perpendicular Bisector | a line segment that is perpendicular to another segment at the segment's midpoint |
| AAS Triangle Congruence | if two angles and a non included side of one triangle are congruent to the corresponding angles and non included side of another triangle, then the triangles are congruent |
| HL Triangle Congruence | if the hypotenuse and a leg of a right triangle are congruent to the hypotenuse and a leg of another right triangle, then the triangles are congruent. |
| Hypotenuse | in a right triangle, the side opposite of the right angle |
| Legs | the two sides that form the sides of the right angle |
| Distance Formula | d=√((x2 – x1)² + (y2 – y1)²) |
