Cholesterol is? blood fat or waxy substance found in your blood.
Cholesterol in food is found in? animal products, not plants
What is fibrin? protein involved in the clotting of blood
What does an artery do? takes blood away from heart
What does a vein do? carries blood back to the heart
What is atherosclerosis? disease of the arteries characterized by deposits of plaque and fatty material on their inner walls
What fingers do you take your pulse with and why? Take your pulse with your index and middle fingers. Thumb has its own pulse.
