Plagiarism
| Term | Definition |

| Plagiarism | Presenting work or ideas from another source as your own, with or without consent of the original author, by incorporating it into your work without full acknowledgement. |
| Intentional | Ex: Copying an entire post or article Something that is obvious and shows no signs of original work. |
| Unintentional | Ex: Not understanding the citation circle and missing key elements of source attribution. |
| Procrastination | Putting work off until the last minute. This can sometimes lead to plagiarism. |
| Citing Source | Giving a source credit for using their work is very important. |
| AI | (Artificial Intelligence) Can be used to assist students or in some cases plagiarize. |
| We Credit | Information that you use from things such as newspapers, magazines, websites, or books. |
| We Don't Credit | Things that are common knowledge or personal information. |
| Avoiding Plagiarism | You cannot procrastinate on your work. Make sure you take good notes and know how to paraphrase. |
| Procrastination | Putting work off until the very last minute which can promote bad habits. |
