What can happen if you are thought to have plagiarized? Universities take it as a serious matter, and you could possibly be kicked out of the school
What is auto-plagiarism? Submitting work that you had already turned in for a different assignment.
Can plagiarism be unintentional? Yes. (not understanding the citation system)
What should you give credit to? words or ideas in any medium, information, visual aids, exact words or unique phrases
Is using synonyms or scrambling an author's words and phrases and then using these "rewrites" plagiarism? Yes.
What does good paraphrasing also require? a citation of the original source
