PHYSICS MODULE 2 VOCABULARY

QuestionAnswer
a system used to describe motion that gives the zero point location of the variable being studied and the direction in which the values of the variable increase coordinate system
the point at which both variables in a coordinate system have the value zero origin
the distance and direction from the origin to an object position
the entire length of an object's path, even if the object moves in many directions distance
a measure of size magnitude
a quantity that has both magnitude and direction vector

a measure of motion that tells the speed and direction of an object at a specific instant instantaneous velocity
