Open Source A program source code is freely available to the public
Freeware Software you can download, pass around, and distribute without any initial payment
Piracy When someone installs and uses commercial software without paying for the program
Keyword Are words or phrases that describe content that are used in internet searches
Node Any system or devices connected to a network
Firewall Are limits to data that can pass through your computer and protects from unauthorized users
Banner Advertisement on a website (usually horizontal)
Skyscraper Web Advertisement on a website (vertical) because they are tall and narrow
Cookie Data sent to your computer by a web-server that records your actions on a website
RSS Feed (RDF Site Summary)Method of providing website content, such as news stories/updates
Net BIOS (Network Basic Input/Output System)Provides an interphase between the computer's operating system and the hardware.
LED (Light-Emitting Diode)Electronic device that emits light when electric current flows through it.
LCD (Liquid Crystal Display)Screen that is made from smashing two electrodes
