Unit 6 math vocab

TermDefinition
Center a point that is the same distance from every point on the circle
Circle a two-dimensional shape in which every point is the same distance from the center
Circumfrence the distance around the outside of a circle it can be thought of as the perimeter of the circle
Diameter the distance across a circle through the center
pi in a circle the quotient circumference/diameter common approximations are 3.14 and 22/7
radius the distance from the center to any point on a circle
