Key questions on waves

| describe a longitudinal wave | vibrations/oscillations are parallel from direction of energy transfer |
| define amplitude | maximum displacement from a point on a wave from its undisturbed position |
| define wavelength | the distance between the same point on two adjacent waves |
| define frequency | the number of complete waves passing a certain point per second |
| equation for wavespeed | wavespeed = wavelength x frequency |
| what are all 7 EM waves? | Radio waves, Micro waves, Infared waves, Visible light waves, Ultraviolet waves, X-ray waves, Gamma ray waves. |
