Oxidation Where an element loses electrons.
Reduction Where an element gains electrons.
Oxidising Agent A substance that brings about oxidation in other substances.
Reducing Agents A substance that brings about reduction other substances.
Oxidation number The charge that an atom has or appears to have when electrons are distributed according to certain.
