QuestionAnswer
Solution A perfect mixture of a solute and solvent. In a solution in which the particles of solute are uniformly distributed throughout the solvent. Homogeneous
Concentration Is the amount of solute dissolved in any given volume of solution
Molarity Number of moles of solute per litre of solution.
Standard solution A solution where the concentration is accurately known.
Primary standard Is a substance that can be obtained in a stable, pure and soluble form so that it can be weighed out and dissolved in water to give a solution of accurately known concentration.
Titration A laboratory procedure where a measured volume of one solution is added to a known volume of another solution until the reaction is complete.
