Dune A small hill in a sandy place such as a beach or a desert

Disability A serious physical condition that prevents someone from using their body completely or easily
Heal For an injury to recover and become well again
Hurt To feel pain in a part of the body
Hurtful Causing someone to feel sad or offended
Injection A medical action in which a needle is used to put medicine directly into the body
Injured Having been harmed or damaged, especially in an accident
Limb An arm or a leg
Monitor To keep track of a situation and be ready to take action if necessary
Pain The unpleasant physical feeling you have when a part of your body has been hurt
Paralympics An athletics event held after the Olympic Games for athletes with disabilities
Prosthetic Relating to an artificial body part that replaces a natural one
Range A number of things that are all different but of the same sort or type

Wheelchair A chair with wheels that is used by someone who cannot walk
Wounded Having been injured, especially in a battle or accident
Crack To break or develop narrow holes in a surface
Failure An unsuccessful action or someone who has not been successful
Joke To do or say something silly to make people laugh

Nominate To officially suggest someone for a job or a prize
Supply The amount of something that is available for use
Surgery Medical treatment that involves cutting into the body to repair or remove a part The place where a doctor or group of doctors work and see patients

Antihistamine A substance used to stop the effects of an allergy
Bite To use your teeth to cut into something or make a hole in it
Difficulty A particular thing that you cannot do easily
Dilemma A difficult situation that forces you to make a decision
Ignore To not pay any attention to something
Itchy Feeling a discomfort that makes you want to scratch your skin
Obviously Used to emphasize that something is true and known
