QuestionAnswer
antagonist the character working against protagonist
climax the most exciting part where the character comes face-to-face with the conflict. The turning point
conflict the main problem or difficulty that the main character want to change, fix or solve
exposition the beginning where characters, settings and conflict are introduced
falling action the events after the climax that lead to the end of the story
inciting incident an event that sets the action in motion and starts the conflict
plot all of the events in a story, middle, beginning and end
protagonist the main character
resolution the conflict is solved, the characters move on and story ends
rising action the events and actions that build suspense and move the plot along
