| Gustar (to be pleasing to someone) | has two forms: singular and plural (gusta/gustan). |
| The subject of gustar is the person or thing that is liked. The indirect object pronoun shows to whom the person or thing is pleasing | ex: me gusta el traje (I like(s) the suit), les gusta el traje (they like the suit.) |
| If one thing is liked, use gusta. If two or more things are liked, use gustan. | ex: Me gusta ese collar (I like that necklace.) No me gustan los anillos (I do not like the rings.) el, la, los, las are "The" in spanish. |
