verbs of transmission & verbs similar to gustar

indirect object pronouns me (to/for me), te (to/for you), le (to/for you (him/her/it)), nos (to/for us)), os (to/for you all)), les (to/for you formal (them)).
Indirect objects tell you to whom/for whom an action is done; the WHO, who is receiving what? true.
Place the indirect object pronoun before a conjugated verb form; conjugate verb so it matches what it describes. ex: Les voy a vender mi auto (I am going to sell them my car), Juan nos está preparando la cena (Juan is preparing dinner for us.)
Use indirect object pronouns even when the indirect object noun is stated explicitly. Yo *le* presto mis libros a *Victoria.* (I lend my books to Victoria) le is the pronoun, Victoria is the indirect obj noun receiving the action.
le and les are often used with the preposition a + pronoun. ex: Le hablo a usted (I am talking to you, not to him/her)
DAR (to give) used a lot with indirect obj pronouns yo (doy), tú (das), Ud. él, ella (da), nosotros/as (damos), vosotros/as (dais), Uds, ellos/as (dan)

Mostrar stem change only w/out for nos/vos (mostramos, mostráis) the rest change "o" to ue and has a normal AR ending
Gustar (to be pleasing to someone) has two forms: singular and plural (gusta/gustan).
The subject of gustar is the person or thing that is liked. The indirect object pronoun shows to whom the person or thing is pleasing ex: me gusta el traje (I like(s) the suit), les gusta el traje (they like the suit.)
If one thing is liked, use gusta. If two or more things are liked, use gustan. ex: Me gusta ese collar (I like that necklace.) No me gustan los anillos (I do not like the rings.) el, la, los, las are "The" in spanish.
To express what people like or do not like to do, use gusta followed by one or more infinitives (unconjugated verb.) Nos gusta caminar por la mañana (we like to walk in the morning.) ¿No te gusta correr y nadar? (Don't you like to run and swim?)
encantar (encanta/n) to like a lot, to love
fascinar (fascina/n) to like a lot, to love
interesar (interesa/n) to interest, to matter
parecer (zc) (parece/n) parezco in "yo" form to seem
quedar (queda/n) to fit; to be left over
Gustar and the verbs like gustar refer to the THING or PERSON that is liked, the indirect obj pronoun shows to whom the person/thing is pleasing. true
Examples Estoy leyendo la novela y me encanta (I am reading the novel and I love it.) Nos fascina la ropa de algodón (we love cotton clothes.) No te interesan los blogs sobre la moda (you are not interested in fashion blogs.)
Possible sentences yo les escribo libros para niños (I write books for children) el vestido no me queda bien (the dress does not fit me well.)
You can attach a pronoun (yo) to the front of the sentence before the indirect object pronoun true (ex: Yo te presto mis zapatos para la fiesta.) I lend you my shoes for the party
Extra terms Libros (Books), Vestido (Dress), niños (children (masculine plural)
Conjugate verb based on who is doing the action! ex: "I lend" (prestar) would be presto (conjugated "yo" form because you are the one lending.)
Decir conjugations Digo (I say) Dices (You say) Dice (He/She says, You say) Decimos (We say) Decís (You all say) Dicen (they say, you say)
