| AD Hominem Fallacy | occurs when someone attacks the person instead of their argument |
| Slipper Slope Fallacy | an argument that claims an initial event will trigger a series of other events and lead to an extreme result |
| Scare tatic | (noun) a strategy intended to manipulate public opinion by arousing fear |
| Bandwagon | (noun) to adopt a trend simply because it will bring you popularity |
| Appeal to false authority | plays on people's feelings of respect towards an authoritative person |
| Statistical Fallacy | when the statistical evidence in an argument is used falsely |
| False Dichotomy | presents only two options/sides when there are many options/sides |
