Classification of Numbers - Numbers are part of families. Numbers have different homes
Natural Numbers - The set of numbers 1, 2, 3, 4, ... Also called counting numbers
Whole Numbers - Natural numbers ( counting numbers) and zero; 0, 1, 2, 3...
Integers - -3,-2,-1,0,1,2,3
Rational Numbers - Any number that can be expressed as a fraction
Irrational Numbers - Any number that can't be described as fractions; π, √2; they are not part of the rest of the numbers
