trying on clothes the action of putting on clothes in a store to see if they fit or look nice
comparing prices the action of checking the cost of the same item in different stores to see where it is cheaper
trolley (British English) a small vehicle that you push around a store, putting the things that you want to buy in it (shopping cart in American English)
shop (British English) a place where you can buy goods or services (store in American English)
colour (British English) the characteristic of things that comes from the light they reflect, transmit, or emit in so far as this light causes a visual sensation that depends on its wavelengths (color in American English)
favourite (British English) liked more than others of the same kind (favorite in American English)
retail therapy the act of shopping in order to improve mood or mental state
impulse buy a spontaneous, unplanned decision to buy a product or service
window shopping the activity of looking at products in store windows without intending to buy them
bargain a product bought for a price lower than its usual cost or its real value
