| apical root | Minute opening where the lymphatic tissue, nerve tissue and blood supply enter the tooth |
| anatomic crown | Surrounded by enamel and is visible in the oral cavity |
| Cusp | A peak or elevation of the tooth located in the occlusal surface of molars and premolars and on the incisal edge of canines |

| Osteoblasts | Cell found within the PDL build bone / Form secondary dentin |
| Free Gingiva | Moveable tissue surrounding the crown of the tooth above the CEJ of the tooth |
| Giginval Crest | Term for peak of the gingiva |
| Gigival Sulcus | The Space that exists between the tooth and the free gingiva and the attached gingiva |
| Free gingival groove | Located below the sulcus, this lines seperated the free gingiva from the attached ginviva |
| Interdental pallipae | Triangular shape of gingivaltissue located between the teeth |
| What types of cells are found within the PDL Build Bone | Osteoblasts |
| What types of cells are found within the PDL | Osteoblasts, Fibroblasts, and Cementoblasts |
