| destination | a place to which somebody is going, especially on a holiday |
| digital divide | the fact that the level of information and communication technologies varies greatly across the world |

| expenditure | an amount of money spent |
| fintech | financial technology, the integration of technology into financial services to improve their use and delivery to consumers |
| heritage | the history, traditions, buildings and objects that a country has had for many years and that are considered an important part of its character |
| information society | a society where people are connected even if they are thousands of kilometres apart, and are constantly sharing a huge amount of information |
| savings | the money that you keep, especially in a bank, and do not spend |
| knowledge-intensive services | types of services provided by specialists in those areas |

| loan | the money that a bank lends to somebody |
| outsourcing | the business practice of hiring a party outside a company to perform tasks or provide services for the company |
| revenue | income of a business, or the money that a government receives from taxes |
| shelter | a building that provides a place to stay for people without a home, or protection for people or animals who have been badly treated |
| social services | government services provided for the benefit of the community, such as education, medical care, and housing |
| welfare, well-being | the general health, happiness and safety of a person or a group |
