Reactions Review

Used to review the vocab from chemical reactions

Exothermic chemical reaction that releases energy by light or heat
Endothermic chemical reactions in which the reactants absorb heat energy from the surroundings to form products
Catalyst A substance that changes the rate of a reaction without changing
Reactant The substances that start a chemical reaction
Product The substances that are the result of a chemical reaction
Ionic Bond The attractive force between oppositely charged ions, which form when electrons are transferred from one atom to another
Covalent Bond A bond formed when atoms share one or more pairs of electrons
Bond Length The distance between the nuclei of 2 bonded atoms
Bond Angle The angle formed by two bonds of the same atom
