sleep hygiene the habits and practices that promote good sleep quality and help maintain a regular sleep schedule
downtime a period of relaxation or leisure when a person is not working or engaged in other demanding activities
recharge to regain one's energy, strength, or mental focus, often by resting, relaxing, or engaging in enjoyable activities
circadian rhythm the natural, internal process that regulates the sleep-wake cycle and repeats approximately every 24 hours
sleep deprivation a condition in which a person does not get enough sleep, resulting in fatigue, irritability, and reduced mental and physical performance
