What are Building Regulations ? A Regulation that sets out minimum building standards
What is a programme of work ? Sequence of work activities
What is a Method statement ? A document setting out the most efficient and safest way of carrying out a job
What is a facing brick ? A brick with a dressed face such as textured or detailed with a pattern for decoration
What is a common brick ? A brick which is plane faced on all sides
What is handmade brick ? A hand made brick is not factory made and is made in a traditional way with a mold.
What is engineering brick ? A dense hard brick with is smooth and able to cope with frost and water .
Whats is Feb/plasticiser An air entrain that makes mortar easier to work with
What is a corner block used for ? Hold the line and pins on the corners
Whats is a square used for ? Build corners to 90 degrees
What is a Chariot used for ? For recess pointing
What is a line and pins used for ? Laying to between corners
Level used for ? Plumbing leveling and ranging work
