Shambles (N) State of chaos and confusion.
Reconnoiter (V) To perform survey, inspection.
Rebuff (V) To reject, to deny.
Peremptor (ADJ) Bossy, high-handed.
Penitent (ADJ) Full of sorrow and remorse.
Oscillate (V) To swing back and forth.
Obtuse (ADJ) Dull-witted, slow to understand.
Obsequious (ADJ) Kissing someone's ass to gain something.
Luminous (ADJ) Glowing lightly.
Inure (V) To toughen up, get used to something.
Fraught (ADJ) Full of something bad situationally.
