Blather (verb) to gabble or talk ridiculously; to talk nonsense or discuss meaningless issues
Flout (verb) to brazenly or openly break a law, regulation, or tradition (not to be confused with 'flaunt')
Serendipity (noun) the quality of coming upon important insights or discoveries by accident
Boorish (adjective) offensive; lacking manners, cavity, or consideration
Affinity (noun) a natural attraction or inherent similarity between two things; to like almost by instinct
Primordial (adjective) original, at the very first position of a sequence
Titular (adjective) by title only; technically (or in name only) but without the necessary power or attributes
Vagary (noun) an unexpected or seemingly capricious turn of events; a development that is unpredictable
Verbiage (noun) unnecessary words; superfluous or overwrought language
Abscond (verb) to depart quickly and in secret, especially to avoid criminal charges
Abnegate (verb) to renounce, surrender or deny the privilege to oneself; to deny something vital or important
Minion (noun) a follower who is slave-like or obsequious; unquestioning follower
Scruple (noun) a feeling arising from principles or morals (or a sense of conscience)
Aegis (noun) protection, sponsorship, patronage
Proselytize (verb) to convert (a person) from one belief or faith to another
