Describe the appearance of abnormal nail look? fragile, rigid, spots.

What is the largest system of the body? Integumentary system
What is a nail fold? Folds of normal skin that surround the natural nail plate
Explain the difference between the nail plate and nail bed. The nail bed is an area rich in blood vessels and nerve endings that the nail plate sits on. The nail plate is the hard structure of keratinised cells that protects the end of the finger and toes.
What are 3 parts of a basic manicure?
Name four professional nail tools required to perform a manicure? Equipment, implements, materials and professional nail products.
What are the steps in the post service procedure ? Remove jewelry, clean area, clean under nail removing any oils on nail.
