QuestionAnswer
Equation A mathematical statement that says that two things are equal
Expression A mathematical phrase combining numbers and/or variables using mathematical operations
Table Lists of numbers that are the result of some form of calculation
Graph A visual representation of data that shows the relationship between two or more variables
Variable An unknown number that is often represented by a letter
Solve To find an answer or explanation of something
Evaluate To determine the value of something
Addition The action or process of adding something to something else (add, more, sum)
Subtraction The action or process of taking something away from something else
Multiplication The process of adding equal groups to one another
Division The process of splitting something into equal parts or groups
Proportion An equation stating that two ratios are equal
