what is force? Energy giving an object motion
What unit is used to measure force? Newtons
What is momentum? The product of an objects mass and velocity
describe the law of conservation of momentum Momentum can be transfered but never lost
Give the formula for momentum Momentum= Mass*Velocity
What is newtons third law? For every action there is an equal but opposite reaction.
How does this concept help the space shuttle take off? The exaugust from the fuel burning hits the ground, the ground pushes against it with an equal force in the opposite direction.
