| Line | Straight and extends forever in both directions |

| Parallel lines | Two lines that are always the same distance apart. (Never cross) |
| Perpendicular lines | Two lines that cross (intersect) at 90 degrees |
| Angle | Made when two rays meet at a vertex |
| Protractor | An instrument used to measure the degrees in an angle |
| Arms | The name for the sides of an angle |
