what is the espionage act? it was an act that forbidded spying or interfereing with the war effort.
what is the sedition act? made it illegal to write, say, or print anything bad about the government.
what is the sabotage act? it was an act that made any secret action to damage the war effort illegal.
what is mobilization? the gathering of resources and preperations for war.
what people were able to fill jobs that were available during ww1? women and minorities

did the u.s. feel sympathetic to the allies or the central powers? allies.

what did the english blockade do to the germans? it cut off their supplies not only to the soldiers but to the citizens too.
how did germany reespond to the blockade? the attacked the ships with u-boats.
how did the war help the u.s. in a way while we were still neutral? we continued to trade with england and france and we loaned them money for the war.
what did germany do that made the u.s. and led them into the war? they attacked the cruise ship Lusitainia, killing american passengers.
what new military tactic/protection was used in the war? trench warfare.
what would procede a charge across no mans land? an artilery barrage.
what made it allmost impossible to croos no mans land? enemy machine gun fire. it would cut down troops the second they put their heads up.
when did people think the war was going to bee over? christmas 1914.
where the trenches more of a good thing or a bad thing? bad.
