| Conventional | Substitue for an accepted standard (Ex: I'll answer your email in 24 hours) |

| Choleric | Excessive anger |
| Coarse | Harsh, Rough in tone |
| Condemnatory | Declaring to be wrong/evil usually used after weighing evidence |
| Faceitous | Joking/sarcastic often inappropriately or insultingly |
| Droll | Humorous but in a very dry way (dry humor) |
| Flippant | Lacking seriousness/respect (NOT IRREVERENT) |
| Insolent | Insultingly disapproving (ex: A student talking back to a teacher) |
| Irreverent | Lacking seriousness/respect (NOT FLIPPANT) |
| Haughty | Disdainfully proud; attitude of superiority |
